Board members have legal and fiduciary responsibilities for the nonprofit organization. In order to do an effective job, board and staff members must understand the relationship between the operational budget, financial reports, and financial practices.  Learning these topics will help board and staff members work together to build a financially viable nonprofit organization for your community.  

The trainer will be Rose Mary Fry, a nonprofit consultant who has work with boards and staff of new and established nonprofits throughout Texas. Her expertise includes strategic planning, board governance, fundraising, nonprofit finance and collaborations.
