South Texas Blood & Tissue Center is seeking goal-oriented Telephone Scheduler / Telephone Representative to tele-recruit donors & provides clerical support for the Tele-recruitment Department at our Victoria location.
CLOSING DATE: November 18, 2009 $10.53 per hour + shift differential
Responsibilities / Expectations of a Telephone Scheduler / Telephone Representative include: • Telephone recruit donors within internal database in order to meet or exceed daily quota. • Answer telephones, take messages and direct incoming calls. • Schedule donors to maintain inventory in order to meet or exceed daily quota. • Manage time wisely to ensure efficient and productive telephone contacts. • Maintain accurate files on donors and update status on computer. • Perform mini history interview and check for donor eligibility on the computer. • Maintain and schedule donors to donate in order to fill hospital standing orders and special patient orders. • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately. • Perform computer data entry. • May perform other tasks as assigned.

Schedule: Part-Time: Oct. to Feb. Mon.-Wed. 12-7pm, Sat. 9am-3pm March schedule: Sat. 9am-3pm, Sun. 10am-4pm, Mon. 12pm-7pm, Wed. 12pm-7pm
Requirements Requirements of a Telephone Scheduler / Telephone Representative include: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent • Some sales, customer service or computer experience is preferred • High level of organizational, communication and administrative expertise • Previous high volume outbound telephone / telemarketing experience preferred • Exceptional telephone manner and customer service skills • Superior verbal and written communication • Enthusiasm and professionalism • Dependability, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, problem solve and follow-through • Computer skills
