The primary responsibilities of this position are:
· Preparing individual federal tax returns
· Preparing state and local tax returns including sales tax, hotel occupancy tax, mixed beverage tax, etc.
· Preparing employment tax returns including 941, 940, 943, Texas Workforce Commission, W-2, W-3, and 1099’s
· Preparing financial statements and other various write-up functions
In addition to the above, the responsibilities of this position include such other duties, tasks, and activities as are customarily and traditionally associated with this position, or that may be assigned to this position from time to time.
Specific knowledge and skills required:
· Familiarity with Quickbooks a plus
· Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel)
· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
· Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
· Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing |
