Jaguars Softball Opening Weekend
In honor of Heart Disease Awareness month, we have several events taking place at our softball season opening weekend.
Sat. vs. San Jacinto College, 1 p.m.
UHV School of Nursing will be giving out free coloring books for children and providing blood pressure screenings for adults.
Sun. vs. Alvin Community College, 1 p.m.
The South Texas Blood & Tissue Center will be accepting blood donations at the game from 1 to 5 p.m.
After the games, kids can run the bases and meet Jaguars players for photos and autographs
-All games are doubleheaders
-Softball games are played at St. Joseph High School-O’Connor Athletic Complex located at 3006 North Cameron, 1 block behind Tejas Café
-Plus coupons from McDonalds, Chick-Fil-A, will be given away to fans while supplies last

Sat. vs. UT-Brownsville, 3 p.m.
Sun. vs. UT-Brownsville, 1 p.m.
-All games are doubleheaders
-Baseball games are played at Riverside Stadium
-Plus coupons from McDonalds and Chick-Fil-A will be given away to fans while supplies last
As always, UHV Faculty, Staff and Students receive FREE general admission with presentation of valid UHV ID
