The Office of Financial Aid is beginning the process of awarding aid for the 2010 summer sessions. Even though the Summer Course Schedule will not be available until April, please let the Office of Financial Aid know if you are interested in attending UHV this summer.Please follow the instructions on how to apply for summer financial aid.
1. Log into MyUHV 2. Click on UHV Student Self-Service. 3. Click on Financial Aid. 4. Click on the UHV FA Summer Form option. 5. Complete the enrollment and loan request questions and click SAVE.
If you have already submitted your request for summer financial aid and you have a change in your anticipated hours of enrollment for the summer, please submit an email to finaid@uhv.edu. The priority deadline for submitting this data is March 15, 2010.
Direct Loans are available to those that still have loan eligibility. Students who have not received the maximum annual award limit in the fall and spring semesters may be awarded the remaining eligibility. Students who have received the maximum annual Pell Grant award during the 2009-10 academic year may be eligible for a second Pell Grant award if they attend at least half-time. Some state and institutional funds may also be available. See the "How to Apply" instructions on the UHV website to ensure all necessary 2009-10 paperwork has been submitted and for the Loan Limit chart, go to www.uhv.edu/ofa/how_to_apply.aspx.
If you are an undergraduate who plans to co-enroll, complete the co-enrolled hours box below and a consortium agreement form. Send in a copy of the Paid Fee Receipt and Class Schedule. The UHV Consortium Agreement partners are: Victoria College, Wharton County Junior College, Austin Community College, Coastal Bend College and Houston Community College.
