Tryouts for both the inaugural University of Houston-Victoria men's and women's soccer teams will be held May 29 and June 12 in Victoria at the St. Joseph-O'Connor Athletic Complex.

The women's tryout will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by the men's from 1 to 3 p.m. The tryouts will be held at St. Joseph-O'Connor Athletic Complex located at 3006 North Cameron.

All prospective soccer players must have applied for entrance or already been accepted to UHV. To apply to UHV go to http://www.uhv.edu/. College transfer students will also need a copy of their transcript. Each player trying out will also need to sign a waiver and those under 18 must have the waiver signed by their parents.

The tryouts are open to current high school seniors on track to graduate this spring and junior college student-athletes who have exhausted their eligibility at the NJCAA level.

Those interested in attending the event are required to contact Coach Adrian Rigby at rigbya@uhv.edu prior to attending and participating.
